New Labels

Artworks with problematic portrayals should have labels that directly address the problems the works are showing. The museum would take accountability for the subjects they are showing. In addition, the visitors would explicitly be informed about the issues and could take that into account when analyzing the artwork.

Curator Interactions

The museum curators should address any of the problems of the works they show during tours. The tours should begin to include more of these problematic works so visitors can hear a professional criticism of them. Again, the visitors will be informed and the museum continues to address the problems instead of ignoring them.

More Diverse Artists

Most importantly, museums need to begin integrating more works done by female artists and artists of color. This would give the museum much more representative art for the visitors to engage with and creates a better sense of belonging.
The museum's collections will grow and the subjects of the art would be more diversified.
